Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Casual General Service Assistant to join our team working at Driffield Cadet Training Centre, Alamein Barracks, YO25 5HD
You will be performing basic food preparation, preparing vegetables, traying up breakfast items and plating desserts. Alongside this, you will also be working front of house, serving customers and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

• This is a zero hours position with shifts mostly on weekends.  Shifts range between 6am and 7pm leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work within culinary and hospitality.
• Hourly rate of £11.44 – depending on your age.

A day in the life of a General Service Assistant:

• At this site we provide breakfast, lunch & dinner for Army cadets attending weekend training
• As well as the weekends, we do get some adult military groups who also use the facility for their training and again we offer breakfast, lunch & evening meal.
• You will be cleaning both back and front of house, ensuring the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.
• General front of house duties such as setting up drinks’ stations, serving the customer and providing excellent customer service.
• Whilst serving food on the food counters, you will ensure you are always adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations.

You will be set up for success if you have:

• Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work
• Must be able to pass full DBS checks
• Previous experience (not fully necessary as training can be given)
