Job Description

Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Chef to join our team in Cwmbran, NP44 4YZ. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate culinary professional looking for a great work-life balance, with a Monday to Friday, term-time-only working pattern.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting meals to a high standard
• Supporting menu planning and food production
• Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
• Managing stock rotation and assisting with stock control
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
• Working closely with the wider catering team to ensure an efficient service
• Completing relevant food safety records and documentation
• Supporting the delivery of a positive dining experience for customers
• Following all health and safety and company procedures

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Chef or in a similar catering role
• Passion for producing high-quality food
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Organised and able to manage time effectively
• Positive and flexible approach to work

Additional Requirements

• Must have the legal right to work in the UK
• DBS check required
