Job Description

This role is responsible for developing and executing strategy, advocating for your clients, encouraging dedication, driving engagement, and delivering positive financial results. Owns the operations of food service accounts by ensuring areas of responsibility meet objectives and client expectations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accurately sets and leads client objectives/priorities and customer needs to drive sales growth and raise client retention including Client Business Review
  • Utilizes Proactive Pricing to achieve the unit’s growth targets by executing on contractual pricing rights
  • Engages clients and key service users through ongoing and frequent interactions, meetings and account activities
  • Executes on quality and innovation by finding opportunities to implement new products and services
  • Serves as a customer advocate
  • Delivers on food and labor targets by using the applicable tools and processes to proactively lead financial outcomes, operational indicators and behaviors.
  • Develops and deploys tailored and balanced operating plans to achieve financial targets and meet the overall needs of the client
  • Runs labor scheduling, staffing and employee training to deliver labor improvements and provide high quality services and products
  • Ensures purchasing compliance at the vendor and SKU level, understand and account for all non-compliant spend, and achieve local and enterprise sustainability objectives
  • Ensures consistent, accurate use of key Operational Tools and closely monitors and spot checks accurate use of the local operating system
  • Reduces time to fill and voluntary turnover by utilizing sophisticated and simplified recruiting and hiring strategies
  • Provides ongoing opportunities for development, learning and recognition to engage and enable team members
  • Drives a culture of Safety through the implementation of all safety, quality and service excellence standards
  • Retains talent by promoting inclusion and leveraging differences
  • Supports and guides team members through meaningful feedback and ongoing coaching
  • Fully improves contract terms to deliver Growth and Margin targets
  • Conducts period inventory
  • Ensures timely and accurate payment through effective management of A/R
  • Leads and maintains account records that follow Aramark, government, and accrediting agency standards
  • Budgets, forecasts and monitors the net income after expenses, with direct influence on allocation of company resources

Qualifications

Degree (or equivalent supervisory experience) in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or other related field, plus a minimum of 1-3 years proven experience.
