Job Description
We have an opportunity for an individual interested in career progression within Hospitality to join our team as Hospitality Support. The successful candidate will work on-site at one of our client locations, supporting a busy and dynamic event schedule and reporting to the Hospitality and Events Manager.

This is a hands-on role supporting the delivery of food and beverage services while maintaining high operational standards. The role requires flexibility, a strong customer focus, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, particularly HACCAP requirements
Carry out cleaning duties associated with service areas, equipment and furniture
Prepare service areas and ensure service points are fully set up and maintained
Clean and replenish service equipment as required
Ensure accurate storage of food items and equipment after service
Assist with food preparation and efficient service delivery, including light cooking where required
Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures in line with procedures
Handle cash transactions and follow all company cash handling and till procedures accurately
Attend and participate in in-house training sessions
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance and uniform at all times
Present a professional image that supports excellent customer relations
Comply with and support the implementation of company health and safety policies
Follow all company policies and procedures and support their ongoing promotion
Support the wider team with additional duties as required to ensure smooth operations
Carry out barista duties during quieter hospitality periods
Complete paperwork accurately as assigned by the line manager
Qualifications
Previous experience in a catering or hospitality environment is desirable
Previous barista experience is an advantage
Knowledge of food hygiene standards, including HACCAP
Good level of spoken and written English
Strong customer service skills with a courteous and professional manner
Good organisational and multi-tasking ability
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
High level of motivation, reliability and good timekeeping
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
An interest in food, service and hospitality
Willingness and ambition to develop and progress within the industry
