Job Description
Aramark Ireland is currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team on a prestigious client site near Cork City Centre. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen operations across all service areas onsite.
Working closely with the Chef Manager/Catering Manager, you will help ensure food safety, operational excellence, and an exceptional dining experience for our clients and customers. This is a full-time role, and flexibility with working hours is essential.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, service, and presentation in line with HACCP and Health & Safety legislation.
Assist with menu planning and menu costings to ensure the budgeted Gross Profit Margin is achieved, eliminating waste where possible.
Place and manage food orders in line with company purchasing policy, ensuring only approved suppliers are used.
Fully familiarise yourself with all company policies and procedures and ensure their daily implementation to guarantee food safety and hygiene compliance.
Ensure all assigned Food Safety and Quality records are completed daily within the kitchen and associated areas without exception.
Maintain excellent standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness within the premises.
Take responsibility for team performance to consistently deliver high-quality, top-line food for our clients.
Share responsibility with the Chef Manager/Catering Manager for checking, probing, and signing off all food deliveries to ensure the highest quality produce is accepted.
Ensure food presentation is innovative, served at the correct temperatures, and that temperatures are accurately recorded.
Assist with regular stock takes as required.
Review the kitchen hazard list weekly with the Chef Manager/Catering Manager.
Maintain strong communication and positive working relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues.
Share responsibility for daily and weekly cleaning schedules, ensuring all hygiene duties are completed to the required standard.
Carry out any reasonable tasks to support service delivery, food preparation, hygiene, and overall kitchen efficiency.

Essential Qualifications & ExperienceRelevant culinary qualification
1–2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen
Experience working in industrial or contract catering
Proven experience with HACCP documentation
Experience in menu planning and food preparationKey Skills & Attributes
