Job Description
We are looking for somebody to join our passionate team for our exclusive client. We are recruiting for the role of Combined Services Manager in Cork, reporting to the Regional Manager.
The Combined Services Manager role is a dynamic hands on role. To be successful in this role, the right candidate should preferably have extensive experience working in facilities management / corporate catering environment at a senior management level .
This is a Full-Time role working 39 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Job Responsibilities
- Promote energy, innovation, health and safety and great customer care culture within the site
- Ensure all contracted services meet KPI and liaise with contractors on same.
- Ensure all accommodation services meet agreed client KPI and clients needs
- Ensure that food presentation is innovative and delivering customer experience.
- Fully familiarise yourself with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of Food Safety and Hygiene are maintained in the kitchen and accommodation areas in line with current legislation.
- The interest and ability to train others to empower ownership
- Regularly reviews performance with each member of the team.
- Plan and execute team meetings and daily huddles.
- Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationship.
- Build and maintain good customer relations and seek feedback from customers and react to customer needs in a timely manner.
- Responsible for delivering P&L targets
- Manages legislative compliance and maintains all associated records and reports
- Ensure compliance to the HIQA National Standards
- Ensures compliance with Aramark's standards of operation, including safety standards and Aramark's Business Conduct Policy.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Facilities / Hotel management experience preferable.
- Experience in creating and managing a budget, financial controls and analysis.
- Excellent Communication Skills / Customer Care
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative
- Professionalism and the ability to present and report on relevant business information
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Business Planning skills
- A high degree of knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy – knowledge of Windows office is crucial.
- Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop innovative solutions in the most financially efficient way
- Experience of training and mentoring of staff and food development possible.
