Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team in Claremorris, Ireland. As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and professional space for all. • Carry out daily cleaning and sanitisation duties across all areas of the workplace, including offices, communal spaces, and facilities, adhering to established cleaning procedures and protocols

• Utilise cleaning equipment and products efficiently and safely, demonstrating proper handling of chemicals and equipment whilst adhering to health and safety regulations and best practice guidelines • Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues, concerns, or hazards to your supervisor promptly and professionally
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to ensure consistent standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene across all facility areas • Respond professionally to client and colleague requests, demonstrating excellent customer-focused service and maintaining trustworthiness and discretion when working across different areas of the facility
• Manage your time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled working hours, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing priorities and working patterns • Support additional duties as required, which may include assisting with catering operations or other organisational needs, whilst maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

• Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance and dependability • Physical fitness and stamina to perform cleaning duties effectively throughout your shift • Willingness to work flexibly, including potential for part-time or alternative working patterns • Sound understanding of health and safety practices in cleaning operations and chemical safety • Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
• Clear written and verbal communication skills • Problem-solving ability and capacity to follow instructions, procedures, and protocols • Manual dexterity and good coordination for effective cleaning operations • Trustworthiness and discretion when working across different facility areas and handling sensitive information

**Desirable Skills and Experience:** • Previous experience in cleaning, facilities management, or related operational roles • Knowledge of chemical-free or environmentally conscious cleaning methods and sustainability practices • Experience in catering or foodservice operations

• Familiarity with modern cleaning equipment and technologies • Relevant health and safety certifications or training in cleaning operations • Awareness of environmental best practices and sustainable cleaning operations • Experience working in fast-paced or multi-site environments • Adaptability to different cleaning environments and client requirements • Induction or on-the-job training experience in facilities management
