Location: Chichester College, Westgate Fields, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 1SB
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, between 7:30am – 4:00pm (variable hours)
Term Time Only: 36 weeks per year
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour (£9.43 equated)

Are you friendly, reliable, and ready to be part of a vibrant college community? We're looking for a Shop Assistant to join our on-site team at Chichester College.
This is a great opportunity to start a career in a supportive environment, with no previous experience required – just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve customers with a high level of customer service at the till (cash and card).
- Promote and upsell products.
- Keep the shop clean and tidy, including daily cleaning of the Starbucks machine and general housekeeping.
- Manage stock – rotate, face up and date products correctly throughout the day.
- Assist with ordering and stock taking.
- Package and label hot food items.
- Support other team members and contribute to smooth daily operations.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience is not essential – full training will be provided.
