What you'll be doing

• Preparing nursery meals
• Following allergen requests
• Placing orders and stock rotation using the FIFO method
• Preparation of hot/cold food
• Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Ensure food is correctly stored according to food safety policies and guidelines
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and utensils
• Present and garnish food and portions according to guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers and co workers
• Assisting in the compilation of all shift opening and closing checklists

Experience

• Previous kitchen/cooking experience is required
• Culinary qualification essential
• Knowledge of allergens and food safety
• DBS required
• E learning is available through our online learning system to obtain Food Safety Level 2/3 certificate
