We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chichester College, PO19 1SB

What you'll be doing

• Basic food preparation including sandwiches, baguettes, wraps, paninis, fruit and dessert pots
• Breakfast preparation
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Serving customers both on the till and food service counters.
• Receive and store food deliveries, ensuring the FIFO method is followed
• Stocking up of drinks counter and confectionary
• Dish collecting and pot washing / operating the dishwasher
• Deep cleaning of fridges and other equipment
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service

Experience

• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• DBS required
