Chessington World of Adventures Resort are now recruiting Hotel Kitchen Assistants
Do you like the idea of working in a theme park environment? Interested in becoming a Chef but need the relevant kitchen skills? Well, we have a fabulous opportunity to work within our hotel operations at Chessington World of Adventures. You would be based in one of our restaurants working alongside our amazing team of chefs. We have several positions available with various shift patterns.
The Role
You will be aiding the chefs and culinary staff in the preparation of food for the restaurant. This is a great starting point for a career within catering and hospitality and you will be working with a team of talented chefs. We will support and develop our Kitchen Assistants who show the passion and desire to progress.
Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role, however, people wanting to get into this role with no experience will be considered. Your mission is clear, you must assist the team in delivering first class food to our hotel guests.
Pay & Benefits
You will be working either part time or full time on a seasonal variable contract, with an hourly rate of £11.98

Your main responsibilities will include:
- To maintain food hygiene, service and presentation to standard
- To aid the preparation of food for the chefs
- To maintain a high standard of hygiene in respect of premises and self
- Ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly
- Due to the nature of this role you must be over 18 years old
- Kitchen experience would be beneficial but not essential
- A passion for food and service
- Flexible approach to hours and duties
- Team player
