We are currently recruitng for Chef de Partie to join our hotel kitchen team at Chessington World of Adventures, where great food plays a key part in creating unforgettable guest experiences.
The role offers the chance to work across a diverse hotel operation, inlcuding an a la carte restaurant, word buffet service, corporate events and gala dinners, giving you the opportunity to showcase your skills in a variety of settings. You'll be joining a supportive and welcoming team, with genuine opportunities for career progression. Key Responsibilities
- Produce food in line with food safety guidelines and Aramark policy
- Deliver menu items to specification and to a consistently high standard
- Prepare food for service using prep lists and guidance from the Head Chef and Sous Chefs
- Support the coaching and development of Commis Chefs, Kitchen Assistants and Kitchen Porters
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Work closely with the front of house team to ensure smooth service
- Act as a champion for food safety at all times
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant culinary qualification
- Experience of working in a professional kithcen
- Experience in industrial or high volume catering is preferred
- A passion for food and service
- A flexible and reliable approach to hours and duties
- This is a high-volume role, so you will need to be organised, motivated and able to perform well under pressure.
