Title:  F & B Bar Assistant

Thorpe Park is recruiting Park Food and Beverage Bar Assistants to join us at the UK's most thrilling theme park!  

Come and join our friendly team and work in an exciting theme park environment that is home to over 25 rides and attractions and hosts fantastic events throughout the year. 

The Role

You will be offering the park visitors the best possible customer service, serving drinks in an efficient manner. We're looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for hospitality, and making people happy. You'll be working in our bars located across the theme park. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a postive customer experience
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage, following recipes and guidelines
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, utilising our point-of-sale system
• Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, restocking supplies as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth bar operations during busy periods
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and licensing regulations

Requirements:

• Previous bar experience is desirable
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in handling transactions
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Due to the nature of this role, you must be over 18
