Your role

An opportunity has become available to join the team as a Chef de Partie at Thorpe Park Resort. You will be supporting the team with producing and presenting food across the resort. Your main focus will be to cater for our hotel guests in one of our main park restaurants.

Aramark provides world-class contract catering services to our extensive list of clients across the UK, including Defence and Judicial, Private Industry and Education. We are very lucky to have some of the best culinary and catering talent that the UK has to offer working within our teams.

Job responsibilities include

• Preparing and cooking delicious food for our hotel guests
• Having full knowledge of all menu items served
• Monitoring portion and wastage control to maintain profit margins
• Helping with the training and development of any Commis Chefs or Demi Chef de Parties working with you.
• Work collaboratively with the other chefs regarding the maintenance of food levels, food quality and brand standards.
• Maintaining high food hygiene and health and safety standards
• Working with the other chefs to make sure all shift opening and closing checklists are completed

  You'll be set up for success if you have:

• You'll need to be enthusiastic, outgoing, approachable and confident
• You must have previous experience in a kitchen role ensuring you maintain standards of presentation
• You must be able to ensure the correct preparation, cooking and presentation of all food as per recipes and standard operating procedures.

Due to the nature of the business you will be required to work some weekends, bank holidays and evenings
