Description: 

Thorpe Park are seeking an experienced customer-focused Coffee Shop Team Leader to oversee our daily operation.

 

The ideal candidate would share our passion for creating speciality drinks and be able to work under pressure in our fantastic theme park setting.

 

A day in the the life of a Coffee Shop Team Leader would include...

 

  • Supporting the manager in leading your team to consistently deliver exceptional service
  • Be the coffee expert, ensuring your team serves exceptional coffee and shares your passion for it
  • To actively encourage a positive and inclusive work environment by coaching, training, and supporting the team members
  • Ensure high standards of product quality, cleanliness, and unit presentation are always maintained
  • Drive sales and profitability through effective cost management, upselling and promotion initiatives
  • Support the manager in all aspects of store operations, including staff and inventory management

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Previous leadership experience in the food services or retail industry
  • Coffee preparation skills at Barista level
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and staff
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Flexible with shift times to suit the theme parks opening hours
