We are currently recruiting for an Administrator/Receptionist to be a part of our integral team at Garrison Medical Centre, Catterick Garrison. 


DBS and security clearance checks required due to the nature of workplace.

Main responsibilities include...


  • To deliver administrative support;


  • To greet all patients and visitors to the Medical Centre in an appropriate manner;


  • Make appointments for patients using the appropriate systems;


  • Receipt, logging and filing of all medical documents and reports from outside units/agencies/departments


  • Preparation and logging of medical records for despatch;


  • Registration and de-registration of patients on database;


  • Calling forward of, and general liaison with, patients as required;


  • To respond to all queries from patients, outside agencies, units and departments in an appropriate manner;


  • All scanning and filing;


  • Take minutes, type and distribute for Practice Meetings;


  • Answering telephone and dealing appropriately with all enquiries;


  • Manage the Group Mailbox;


Key skills required...


  • Must possess NVQ level 2, ECDL or equivalent.


  • Previous experience of working with a medical environment is desirable


  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
