We are currently recruiting a Head Steward to be a part of our integral team at ITC Officers Mess, Vimy Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3LS

A DBS check will be required to complete the application process

What you’ll be doing

  • Supervision of services within the Mess operational business area
  • Accountability for the effective supervision and performance of frontline colleagues within the mess, ensuring delivery of steward services to the required standard
  • Assist with function preparation as directed by the mess manager i.e. silver cleaning, dining room layout, napkins etc
  • Completion of company paperwork
  • Reception duties & messing
  • Cash handling and till operation

 

Requirements:

  • Previous team leader/supervisor experience is desirable 
  • A DBS check is required for this role
  • Good numerical and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety and food safety requirements.
  • Great customer service and a team player
