We are currently looking for a Commis Chef to work with our integral team at Helles Barracks, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PS

- £11.44 per hour
- Full time contract – 35 hours a week, 5 days over 7.
- Shifts range between 5am - 6pm. No late nights!

What you'll be doing
- Assist Senior Chefs in whichever section they are designated to.
- Serving customers
- Cooking a variety of meals
- Supporting with food orders
- To work in a clean and tidy manner
- Check all food is compliant with allergens.
- Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals.
- Placing food orders and maintaining kitchen records
- To monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries.
- Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
- Full knowledge of all menu items served.
Experience
- Previous experience of working in a kitchen is desirable however full training will be given
- Allergen awareness (i.e Natasha’s Law), full training will be given.
- Excellent team player and communicator
- Basic security checks needed.
