Pay rate: £12.71 per hour (over 21s) 
Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday (with some holiday/sick cover and functions) 
Shift times: 1700 - 2200 

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Bar Steward to be a part of our integral team at Gaza Barracks.

As the Bar Steward, you will be working in the bar but must be flexible and prepared to work in other areas of the business if required.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

What you'll do: 

• Cellar duties and cleanliness of bar/cellar furnishings and fittings. 
• Assist line manager/supervisor with bar stock-checks. 
• Operating tills and handling cash. 
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during work. 
• Serve food and beverages to customers. 
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services. 
• Clean back of house areas, crockery, and cutlery. 
• Perform daily paperwork; keeps diligent records as required. 
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.  

What we’re looking for:  

• Food hygiene certificate - Level 2 desirable. Relevant training will be provided Experience in a similar role desirable but not necessary  
• Basic numeracy skills. 
• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role. 
• Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
