Aramark is currently recruiting for an Administrator (Information Support Officer) to join our team in Catterick Garrison.

This is a full time role working 37 hours per week.  

Key Responsibilities

The Information Support Officer (ISO) provides a focal point for the management of information assets within the Unit. This includes the management and administration of the Unit's collaborative working environment on MODNET, and the control of access to the DII computer system. Accountable to the chain of command for ensuring that the Unit maximises the benefits of the system while remaining within the law and MOD policy.

Duties include:

• Computerised receipt, registration, circulation, filing and despatch of a wide range of documents and papers, both internally and externally.

• Maintain the Garrison Diary.

• Maintain the Contractor Staff Leave Records on behalf of the IMgr.

• The receipt and despatch of classified documentation, following the correct procedures in the absence of the IMgr.

• Booking of transport and accommodation on behalf of Garrison Staff Officers.

• Co-ordination of Conference Room admin.

• Maintain applications and returns for G2 Security Courses.

• Any other task as directed by the IMgr.

• Reporting and follow-up of all building work requirements/problems.

• Attending meetings and taking minutes as and when required.

• Collation and Sub-Editor of the Garrison Gazette on behalf of the Chief of Staff.

• Provide cover for the I Manager and ISA during periods of absence

Key Requirements

Essential qualifications: Excellent working knowledge of all Windows and Microsoft Office based applications; previous experience in office administration, typing, word processing and computer skills; collaborative working as part of a team; self-motivation and initiative; communicating and influencing; analysing and using evidence in particular fault finding; good understanding of software; good understanding of military ethos, terminology and publications.

Desirable: Previous supervisory experience.
