Principality Stadium is seeking a Business & Special Events Manager to drive the growth of our non-match day events portfolio and position the stadium as a premier destination for world-class occasions.
This is a unique opportunity: from corporate conferences and exhibitions to private celebrations and special events, you’ll be at the heart of creating exceptional experiences that showcase the versatility and prestige of the venue.
Your day:
- Develop and deliver a sales strategy for non-matchday events, ensuring revenue targets are met
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through market research, networking and strategic partnerships
- Create compelling proposals and bespoke packages tailored to client needs, ensuring profitability and operational excellence
- Host site visits, attend trade shows and represent Principality Stadium at industry events to build strong relationships and elevate our brand
- Lead sales and coordination of special events, ensuring they deliver exceptional client experiences
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery and outstanding customer experiences
- Maintain accurate records, forecast pipelines and report on key performance metrics
You'll bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience in event sales or business development within a high-profile venue or hospitality setting
- Proven ability to grow revenue and meet commercial targets
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with attention to detail and a passion for excellence
- Creative and up to date with industry trends
