Job Title: Contract Manager

Salary: up to £34k depending on experience
Aramark UK are currently recruiting an experienced Contract Manager to join our team of 3 Staff working at British Antarctic Survey in Cambridge CB3 0ET
You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day of the operational management of the Unit, supporting our Chef preparing meals, delegating tasks and leading your team to success.

A day in the life of a Contract Manager
- Hot and cold food production for the breakfast/salad bar and hot counter food service for both breakfast and lunchtime;
- You will be organising and coordinating hospitality – alongside leading the team to ensure tasks are appropriately allocated and food preparation activities are delivered using standard recipes and in line with Aramark brand standards;
- Accountable for stock flow and rotation of products;
- Approving weekly payroll;
- Placing orders and stock rotation, carrying out monthly stock takes and completing the relevant back office paperwork – full responsibility for the Financial performance of the contract;
- Handle customer complaints as required
- Direct and coach team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks, ensuring all training and development needs are met
- Build Client relationship and present monthly Operating and Financial performance
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work
- Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
- Relevant culinary/cookery qualification and previous on the job Management experience – ideally within a Business and Industry environment.
- Good PC skills and working knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Word
- Working knowledge of financial processing and an understanding of P&L and stocktaking.
