Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Hospitality Coordinator to join our team at RMAS Sandhurst, the prestigious royal military academy dealing with anything from royal visits, weddings, military events. The variety of events is endless.
This is an exciting full time role opportunity for an individual with a strong hospitality background or conference and banqueting experience to be able to deliver great experience to a wide range of customer including military, (past and present serving) and civilians attending reunions, weddings, corporate conferences and prestige dinners within the grounds of a globally recognised military establishment. The successful individual will look for ways to enhance our current delivery model to be best in class.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

- This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, (shift pattern, 5 days over 7 including weekends) with an expectation to manage your own hours around the function and hospitality events.

A day in the life of a Hospitality Coordinator:
- Coordinating hospitality bookings that run alongside the normal day to day delivery, from initial enquiry to post event including administration, delivery and post event feedback utilising a wide range of front and back of house team members from across the site to deliver profitable and exceptional results.
- Ensuring invoices are raised on completion of the hospitality delivery as required and reviewing financial performance accuracy with Services Manager.
- Working with Mess Leads to ensure correct stocks of food and beverages are used, required labour availability for function and essential equipment availability.
- Developing strong relationships with suppliers and unit key stakeholders.
- Complete all training through e-learning or in attendance as required to carry out role.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Previous supervisory experience or qualifications in food /hospitality delivery in a service environment would be beneficial.
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable food, health, and safety legislation
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on detail and compliance and the ability to accurately forecast and plan accordingly.
- Understanding of catering finances such as costing, production, yields, wastage, as well as employee schedules and payroll budgeting desirable
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work some weekends when events are booked.
