We are currently looking for a Commis Chef to work with our integral team at MBDA, Golf Course Lane, Bristol, BS34 7QS

• Full time – 37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday between 6.30am – 3.30pm

What you'll be doing

• Assist Senior Chefs in whichever section they are designated to. 
• Preparing dishes and cooking using recipe cards
• Comply with all relevant food safety legislation
• Supporting with food orders
• To work in a clean and tidy manner
• Check all food is compliant with allergens
• Putting away deliveries and following the FIFO method
• Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
• Counter serving

Experience

• Chef experience at commis level is desirable
• Basic cookery skills 
• Previous experience of working in a kitchen 
• Allergen awareness (i.e Natasha’s Law), full training will be given
• Excellent team player and communicator
• MBDA security checks required
