Due to the sector requirements, applicants must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years, have the legal right to work, and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring meals are delivered safely and efficiently across the site, supporting both the kitchen and wider catering operation.

What you'll do:

• Receiving, checking, and organising deliveries 
• Collecting and transporting food trolleys 
• Maintaining a clean and safe delivery area 
• Delivering meals around the outskirts of the prison using a 7.5tonne vehicle 
• Working closely with the kitchen team to deliver meals three times per day 
• Ensuring accurate stock rotation using the FIFO method. 

What we’re looking for:

• Category C1 driving licence (including grandfather rights where applicable) 
• Ability to pass DBS and HMPPS vetting (no prior criminal record required) 
• Physically fit and comfortable handling hot food trolleys and tail lift vehicles 
• A positive, proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills 
• UK residency for 5+ years with valid right to work 

Please note you may be able to start work while vetting is in progress.
