We are currently recruiting for a Sales and Events Executive to be a part of our integral team at Birmingham Botanical Garden, Westbourne Road, Birmingham, B15 3TR

- £24,000 per year
- Full time – 35 hours a week – 5 days a week including weekends
- Shifts range between 9am – 6pm

What you'll be doing
- Reactive and proactive sales
- Answering and dealing with enquires from all platforms
- Planning events
- Upselling
- Producing sales reporting
- Producing contracts and obtaining payments
- Chasing debt
- Conducting show-rounds
- Attending trade shows
- Looking after top accounts
- Completing all administration tasks as required
Experience
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE C&E SECTOR
- Experienced in selling techniques
- Great negotiator
- Experience of account management
- Experience of yield management
- Must have excellent telephone manner
- Confident
- Ability to work as a team in a fast paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be target driven
- Ability to close a sale
- Experienced in use of CRM
- Understanding of the C&E industry and trends
