We are currently recruiting for a Sales and Events Executive to be a part of our integral team at Birmingham Botanical Garden, Westbourne Road, Birmingham, B15 3TR

  • Full time – 35 hours a week – 5 days a week including weekends

What you'll be doing

  • Reactive and proactive sales 
  • Answering and dealing with enquires from all platforms
  • Planning events
  • Upselling
  • Producing sales reporting
  • Producing contracts and obtaining payments
  • Chasing debt
  • Conducting show-rounds
  • Attending trade shows 
  • Looking after top accounts 
  • Completing all administration tasks as required

Experience

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE C&E SECTOR

  • Experienced in selling techniques
  • Great negotiator 
  • Experience of account management
  • Experience of yield management
  • Must have excellent telephone manner
  • Confident 
  • Ability to work as a team in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be target driven
  • Ability to close a sale
  • Experienced in use of CRM
  • Understanding of the C&E industry and trends
