Aramark UK is looking to hire a Kitchen Porter to join their fantastic team at Matthew Boulton College, Birmingham, B4 7PS 

 

This is an exciting, varied part-time role, supporting the Kitchen and Front of House (FOH) teams as needed and keeping those areas neat and tidy.

  • This is a part-time position, 32.5 hours per week, Shifts ranging between Monday, Tuesday and thursday 7:30am and 3pm and Wednesday and Friday 9.15am- 3pm

A day in the life of a Kitchen Porter:

  • Delivering food to outlets on-site. 
  • Carrying out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant. 
  • Supporting the kitchen and FOH team where possible. 
  • Ensuring FOH and BOH are clean and tidy. 
  • Assisting with deliveries and organizing them in the correct storage areas. 
  • Removing waste from waste containers and disposal in the correct external bins. 

You'll be set up for success if you have:

  • Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. 
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role. 
  • Customer focused and a strong communicator. 
  • Excellent team player with a flexible approach to duties.
