We are currently recruiting for a Cook to join our team at Matthew Boulton College, B4 7PS

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing and cooking food, working from specific menu plans
• Preparation of hot/cold food
• Placing orders and stock taking/rotating
• Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Ensure food is correctly stored according to food safety policies and guidelines
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and utensils
• Present and garnish food and portions 
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers and co workers
• Assisting in the compilation of all shift opening and closing checklists

Experience:

• Previous kitchen/cooking experience is required
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• DBS required
• E learning is available through our online learning system to obtain Food Safety Level 2/3 certificate
