What you'll be doing

 

Depending on which role you are interested in, your duties will vary. Here are a few highlights of some of the roles available!

 

Food Service Assistant

  • Serving food and beverages to customers 
  • Depending on the role and site, occasionally some basic food prep
  • Ensuring front and back of house areas are clean at all times 
  • Operating the till and cash handling
  • Providing excellent customer service and working well as part of a team!

Cleaning Supervisor

  • Manage a Team of up to twenty Cleaners ensuring all daily and contractual tasks are carried out and completed as per specifications.
  • Ensure all cleaners provide the highest level of cleaning & housekeeping service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients’ specifications and all attendance paperwork is completed factually and correctly.
  • Responding positively, politely, and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Supervise a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers, accommodation blocks and amenity areas site wide.
  • Ensuring all stocks are ordered and replenished as required.
  • Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines used during hours of work
  • All offices, toilets, laboratories, and accommodation blocks to be presented in a clean and tidy.
  • Ensure Helpdesk issues are attended and completed satisfactory to clients standards.
  • Manage staff performance
  • Any other duties as and when directed by the General Manager

Retail Assistant

  • Operating the till and cash handling
  • Stocking up and stock rotation
  • Ensuring the premises is clean and tidy at all times
  • Working well as part of a team and by yourself

 

Cleaner

  • Working in a timely manner and to a timeframe agreed with your supervisor
  • Ensuring all required areas are cleaned
  • Mopping, sweeping, hoovering and general housekeeping
  • Deep cleaning of kitchens and bathrooms 
  • Ensuring all equipment is operated correctly and reporting any issues asap to your supervisor/manager

Chef

  • You’ll be cooking and preparing food ready for breakfast, lunch and dinner service
  • Work well as part of a team of chefs, supporting one another and communicating well
  • Following recipe cards to prepare, cook and serve a range of meals
  • Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock checks
  • Placing food orders and maintaining kitchen records
  • To share responsibility with the Chef manager/Catering manager for the checking, probing and signing of all food deliveries
  • To monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets and serveries.
  • Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
  • Full knowledge of all menu items served
  • Management of production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage
  • Act as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
  • Undertake relevant training as required

 

Qualifications

 

Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full on the job training will be provided!

We also have apprenticeship opportunities available which enable you to earn whilst you learn!

Security clearance checks will be required to be completed before employment commences.
