We are looking for a Head Chef to bring flavours from around the world as well as a wealth of knowledge and experience!


We are working with a corporate company based in the heart Battersea. You will ONLY be using fresh, local & seasonal produce creating exciting dishes 100% from scratch, The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art kit, with high-end restaurant facilities

A day in the life of a Head Chef:

•    Managing a team of 6 CDP’s , 2 Sous Chef’s and 5 Kitchen Porters in conjunction with the Executive Chef
•    Producing seasonal weekly menu which changes on a daily basis by sourcing the best product and reproducing the most authentic and innovative recipes
•    Ensuring the operation is smooth on day to day through delivery of briefing / debrief and management of the team
•    Managing HR aspect of the team. Twice a year job chats & development of team members.
•    Managing H&S and FS. Ensuring that all company standards and procedure are in place.
•    Work in conjunction with other department managers to improve the offer and the services constantly
•    Implementing innovative concepts & delivering high quality products.
•    Controlling, managing stock and producing cost reports.
•    Managing company ordering and menu software
 

You'll be set up for success if you have:

•    Food Safety level 3
•    Italian cuisine background
•    H&S level 2
•    Financial acumen
•    A passion for food and providing excellent service
•    IT literate, numerate and able to communicate across cross discipline stakeholders
