Job Description
Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef in their Education sector to join our team at Smallcombe House, BA2 6EJ.
You will play a key role in supporting the catering operation within a 30‑bed unit, providing meals to vulnerable adults. This includes assisting with the production of hot and cold food, preparing deli grab‑and‑go items, and setting up pre‑laid breakfasts, as well as serving lunch and dinner. In this position, you will deliver excellent customer service while ensuring all Health & Safety regulations are consistently followed.

Job Responsibilities
- You will be preparing both hot and cold food
- You will be serving on the hot counter, keeping track of any dishes running low and carrying out Food Safety at all times.
- Placing orders and performing stock takes, alongside assisting with storing deliveries and deep cleans of the unit on a daily/weekly basis.
- You will be operating tills and taking payments, whilst providing excellent customer service to our customers. You will also be upselling sizes and products.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is essential
