We’re looking for a temporary Retail Assistant to work at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital, SS16 5NL. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of our retail unit, making sure customers have a great experience every time they visit.

- Monday to Friday predominantly with scheduled weekend work as and when required

Job Responsibilities
- Serve customers and process payments accurately
- Keep shelves stocked and displays looking great
- Receive deliveries and manage stock levels
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy workspace
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Support with opening and closing the retail unit
Key Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful, but not essential – we’ll provide full training
- Comfortable working as part of a team and occasionally on your own
- Must be flexible in all aspects of working rosters (including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays).
