A catering manager oversees all aspects of food service operations for events such as weddings, corporate functions, conferences, and private gatherings. The role combines leadership, customer service, and operational management to ensure every event runs smoothly and meets client expectations.

Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage catering operations from planning to execution
• Meet with clients to understand event requirements, budgets, and preferences
• Create menus in collaboration with chefs and culinary teams
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance during events
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently high
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control for catering supplies
• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Handle on-site event logistics, including setup, service flow, and breakdown
• Resolve issues quickly and professionally during events
• Track expenses, prepare reports, and support budgeting efforts
