Salary: £28,842 (£14.74/hour) | Full-time | 37.5 hours/week | 5 days over 7 (including alternate weekends)
Shifts: Early (06:00–14:00) & Late (12:00–20:00)

You’ll be stepping up when the Head Chef is away, helping to produce up to 1,000 meals per shift, and keeping everything running smoothly. Organisation, calm under pressure, and a passion for great food are key.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Lead the kitchen team during shifts when the Head Chef is off duty
  • Help produce up to 1,000 meals per service – staying cool, calm, and collected
  • Allocate tasks and support your team to keep service running like clockwork
  • Follow recipe sheets and ensure allergen info is up to date
  • Manage food production levels to reduce waste
  • Place orders, receive deliveries, and follow FIFO stock rotation
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, including deep cleans.

What you'll bring:

  • You’ve lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work
  • You’re able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
  • You hold a relevant culinary qualification and have at least 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP
  • You’re organised, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A trade test will be part of the interview process
