We are currently recruiting a Roving Cook / Chef to join our team at Cheshire School Group, including Nantwich, Alsager, Crewe and Macclesfield. Base site is Alsager

• £13 per hour
• 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday - 6 hours per day
• 39 working weeks out of the year, term time only

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and cook a variety of food following recipe cards
• Travelling from site to site to assist with chef duties
• Supporting manager with stock takes and ordering
• Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Ensure food is correctly stored according to food safety policies and guidelines
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and utensils
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers and co workers
• Assisting in the compilation of all shift opening and closing checklists

Experience

• DBS checks required
• Full UK driving licence required
• Previous experience as a cook or a similar role is required
• E learning is available through our online learning system to obtain Food Safety Level 2/3 certificate
