We have a fantastic opportunity for a Front of House Supervisor to join an extremely successful team at RAF Boulmer, Alnwick NE66 3JF. This position is a 37.5 hours contract 5 over 7 so will required the occasional weekend and late evening work at the facility.

You will support in an efficient and smooth operation and in our goal to deliver a World-Class service, your goal is to exceed customer expectations and provide a “wow” factor in the cafes while maintaining consistency high standards of client and customer service.

Your Role will be to support Hirer Management to maximise performance and deliver all aspects of catering, cleaning and hospitality services and support the training and development of these team members.

A day in the life of a Front of house Supervisor:

•    Ensure the day-to-day food service is delivered in line with contractual need to include any dining activity, bar service, shop service & cleaning services 
•    Ensure all team members are coached, mentored and trained to undertake their daily tasks to meet the business need
•    Ensure effective management of consumables and sundries associated with delivery and undertake regular and accurate stock checks as required
•    Take bookings and payments for purchases of food, beverage and any associated consumables as directed and following cash sales handling procedures to ensure security of payments. 
•    Ensure teams carry out stock rotation and assist with stock checks as required
•    Ensure daily cleaning standards of all service areas utilising health checks and assurance tools 
•    Preparation of any other public facing areas as required including set up for hospitality events
•    Support and on occasions lead the delivery of evening hospitality events covering various styles and themes
•    Report to line manager any stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of the working day
•    Ensure teams follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
•    Carry out regular team briefs and safety briefs as required
•    Undertake relevant training as required of all aspects of the role including classroom and eLearning based

•    Excellent communication skills
•    Providing customer satisfaction
•    Team player but also can work on their own Initiative 
•    Previous Experience in a similar role 
•    Food Hygiene certificate – Level 1 or 2, Relevant training will be provided through e – learning.
•    Health & Safety Level 2 – relevant training will be provide through e – learning
