We are currently recruiting for a Cleaner/GSA to work with our team at RAF Boulmer, Admin Site, Longhoughton, Alnwick, Northumberland, NE66 3JY

What you'll be doing

• General cleaning of public areas and office areas including dusting, sweeping, mopping etc
• Rubbish disposal
• Cleaning washrooms, kitchen areas, gyms, classrooms and the medical/dental centre
• Work effectively without supervision
• Clean designated areas and areas notified at short notice
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
• Working in the kitchen as a mess hand
• Duties include cleaning, washing tins, plates, cleaning fridges, cleaning deep fat fryers, serveries and general cleaning
• Following guidance set out in the cleaning schedule
• Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy to a high level of cleanliness.
• Assist with department stock takes
• Ensure that all equipment is sorted correctly and is in good working order

Experience

⦁    Basic DBS required
⦁    Knowledge of COSHH
⦁    Excellent team player and good communication skills
⦁    Should be able to work on own initiative and within a team environment
⦁    Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as on the job training will be given
⦁    Flexible approach to duties with a can do attitude
⦁    Be able to manage your work load in a good timescale
