Ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join our talented team at Keogh Barracks. With a busy kitchen and a vibrant service to deliver, you’ll play a key role in leading the brigade, supporting the Head Chef, and ensuring every dish is exceptional. Working alongside the armed forces and to cater for high-ranking officers and to help with dinner nights and a family orientated mess.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead kitchen operations when the Head Chef is away.
- Prepare dishes to spec, following recipe sheets and allergen guidelines.
- Manage food production, reduce waste, and maintain stock control.
- Receive and store deliveries using FIFO procedures.
- Allocate tasks and mentor the kitchen team.
- Maintain hygiene standards and oversee deep cleans.
- Ensure all team members are trained and compliant.
What We’re Looking For:
- UK residency for the past 3 years and legal right to work.
- Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Relevant culinary qualification and at least 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP.
- Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Calm under pressure, organised, and ready for a trade test.
