POSITION: Kitchen Helper

SALARY: $18.00/hour

SCHEDULE / HOURS: 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (according to the school calendar).
Hours will be reduced during the summer.

START DATE: As soon as possible – 2026

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the chef in preparing the daily menu
• Take part in service on the serving line during lunchtime (if needed)
• Ensure portion control and maintain quality standards in accordance with Aramark requirements
• Ensure compliance with management, health, hygiene, and food safety programs
• Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service
• Participate in kitchen cleaning duties
• Follow established safety regulations
• Perform any other related tasks as required

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry (asset)
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work independently
• Positive attitude, punctuality, honesty, and good judgment
• Customer-service oriented
• MAPAQ certification (asset)
