Job Description

The Warehouse Lead Supervisor - SNE is responsible for purchasing, receiving, shipping and distribution of Market Center product inventory, and supervising the completion of all daily warehouse work in accordance with the company protocols and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Procures products by setting a purchasing schedule, coordinating with vendors, and using the warehouse ordering tool to create purchase orders.
  • Receives product deliveries and reconciles to Purchase Orders, resolving any discrepancies with the vendor.
  • Monitors workflow and ensures proper inventories are pulled for daily route restocks.
  • Picks inventory to assemble orders of product and supplies for requisitions
  • Maintains the warehouse system to reflect accurate par levels of product and inventory level and accurate product set-up
  • Implements food safety requirements through First-in, First-out (FIFO) product rotation, managing date codes, and ensuring temperature requirements are met
  • Controls inventory levels and product costs by coordinating/conducting weekly physical counts and working closely with the Finance Manager to resolve inventory overages and shortages
  • Optimizes inventory by analyzing and improving product days-on-hand, client fill rate metrics, and other key product metrics
  • Communicates with affected managers and front-line personnel regarding any voids, delays or other product changes that may affect client delivery as well as discussing and researching alternative product needs where required to meet client demand
  • Communicates with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered products
  • Supervise the completion of all daily warehouse work and cleaning schedules.
  • Attend on-site and virtual meetings as required.
  • Training and operation of a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack and forklifts.
  • Model and lead safe behavior in the warehouse by implementing all location safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS Standards and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in warehouse or related operation
  • Excellent teamwork, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications of Excel, Teams, and Outlook with the ability to learn recent technologies
  • Communications skills including verbal, written and the ability to connect with a wide range of people and behavior styles
  • Must be physically able to lift, lower, push and pull objects up to 50 lb. unassisted
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, crouch for extended periods, lift, bend, push, pull, and wear required uniforms and PPE. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
