Hammersmith, LND, GB
Job Title: Project Manager – Labor IQ, Workforce Software Implementation (Europe)
Location: Remote/Hybrid (Travel within Germany, Ireland, US, Belgium, and the UK as needed)
Department: Technology
Reports To: Steven Heerdt, Vice President, Enterprise Core Platforms and Applications, Labor IQ Program Execution
Overview:
Aramark is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead the European deployment of our new Time, Attendance, Forecasting, and Scheduling (TAFS) labor management solution. This critical initiative involves implementing Workforce Software (WFS), enhanced with AI-powered tools to drive predictive scheduling and operational insights tailored to Aramark’s diverse business environments.
This role will manage phased (wave-based) implementations across Germany, Ireland, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, country-specific HR and operations teams, and technology vendors. The ideal candidate brings a background in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies, a strong track record of measuring and delivering ROI on technology investments, and financial oversight of project costs to ensure effective resource allocation.
In addition, this role requires the utilization of artificial intelligence to enhance project planning, tracking, and decision-making. This includes using AI-powered platforms for automated task management, predictive project risk analysis, resource optimization, and data-driven reporting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using AI tools to streamline workflows, generate project insights, and proactively identify potential bottlenecks, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for the rollout of Workforce Software and integrated AI-enhanced solutions across designated European countries.
- Coordinate wave-based implementation activities, ensuring delivery aligns with timelines, scope, and budget expectations.
- Leverage AI-based tools to support project execution, including automating routine tasks, generating predictive insights, and improving visibility into project risks, timelines, and resource needs.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement principles to identify process inefficiencies and implement data-driven solutions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between regional stakeholders and the global implementation team to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Integrate AI technology (e.g., predictive analytics, demand forecasting, intelligent scheduling) to optimize workforce management and enhance decision-making.
- Partner with HR, Operations, IT, and third-party vendors to gather regional requirements, support system configuration, and encourage adoption.
- Track and report financial metrics, including cost-benefit analyses, budget adherence, and ROI of the technology implementation.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and resource allocation tools, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Facilitate regular stakeholder engagement meetings, including executive-level briefings and performance dashboards.
- Ensure system compliance with local labor laws and collective bargaining agreements across all involved regions.
- Drive and support change management and training efforts, tailored to the cultural and operational context of each region.
- Provide post-go-live support and lead initiatives to continuously optimize both technology and business processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in HR technology or workforce management solutions.
- Proven success managing implementations of Workforce Software or comparable platforms (e.g., Kronos, ADP, SAP Time Management).
- Experience with AI applications in labor or workforce management strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to track project costs, evaluate ROI, and report financial performance to stakeholders.
- Certification or working knowledge in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or similar process improvement methodologies.
- Experience delivering projects across multiple European countries, with a strong understanding of regional compliance and operational differences.
- Familiarity with both agile and waterfall methodologies; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a global, matrixed environment and manage collaboration across time zones.
- Willingness to travel periodically within Europe and North America.
