Title:  Cleaning Operative

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑focused Cleaning Operative to join our team on a pharmaceutical site. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness in line with GMP, Health & Safety, and client requirements.

Mon to Thurs 07:00am to 15:00pm , Fri 07:00am to 14:00pm (39hrs per week) and additional role Sat & Sun 7:00am to 15:00pm (16hrs per week)

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across production, laboratory support, office, and welfare areas to agreed standards
• Follow GMP cleaning schedules, procedures, and site instructions at all times
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely in line with COSHH and training provided
• Display safety signage as required and report hazards or unsafe conditions promptly
• Keep cleaning stores and equipment clean, tidy, and safely stored
• Report faulty equipment, low stock levels, or incidents such as spills or damage
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear company uniform and PPE as specified
• Attend required training and provide cover in other areas when needed

Qualifications

• A good understanding of safe cleaning practices (GMP experience desirable but not essential)
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team
• Willingness to comply with all company, client, and Health & Safety policies
