Job Description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Suite Waiter to join our hospitality team in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will provide exceptional dining service to our guests in suite and private dining environments, ensuring a memorable experience through attentive service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency.

• Greet guests warmly and provide courteous, attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and beverages according to established service standards and company protocols
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries and make recommendations
• Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and maintained throughout service
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any concerns or special requests
• Process payments and handle transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and equipment
• Comply with all health, safety, and food handling regulations
• Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and housekeeping staff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tables efficiently during peak service periods

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a waiter, waitress, or in a similar food service role
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of food and beverage service standards and dining etiquette
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and payment processing
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high service standards
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays and service items
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service environments
• Preferred: Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality establishments
• Preferred: Knowledge of wines, spirits, and beverage pairings
• Preferred: Multilingual abilities to serve diverse guest populations
