Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Stores Assistant to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our storage and inventory operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and well-organized work environment.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries and shipments
- Organize and maintain storage areas, ensuring items are properly labeled and easily accessible
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile stock levels with system records
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory documentation and records
- Support order fulfillment operations by locating and preparing items for dispatch
- Monitor stock levels and alert management to low inventory situations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols within the storage facility
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of storage areas and equipment
- Assist with the implementation of inventory management procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with team members to support overall warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a stores, warehouse, or inventory management role (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and inventory management software (preferred)
- Ability to lift and handle items of varying weights regularly
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and professional work ethic
