Job Description
We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Relief Cleaning Operative to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, hygienic, and safe environments across our facilities. As a Relief Cleaning Operative, you will work flexibly to cover various shifts and locations as needed, ensuring consistent cleaning standards are met at all times. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining professional workplace standards.
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of assigned areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas according to established protocols
- Empty and replace trash receptacles and maintain waste disposal areas
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Stock and replenish cleaning supplies and materials as needed
- Follow health and safety regulations and company cleaning standards consistently
- Report maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Work flexibly across multiple shifts and locations as required
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of cleaning tasks
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial, or facility maintenance roles
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform manual cleaning tasks and lift heavy items
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in workplace environments
- Reliability and flexibility to work various shifts and cover relief positions
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Preferred: Previous experience in commercial or corporate cleaning environments
- Preferred: Basic health and safety training or certification
