Job Description
We're looking for a Premium Cashier to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will be the face of our organization at the checkout, delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism. As a Premium Cashier, you will handle transactions with efficiency and courtesy, ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and leaves a lasting positive impression.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Handle cash, card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies
- Provide friendly, professional, and empathetic customer service to all patrons
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve payment-related issues with patience and problem-solving skills
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and ensure compliance with company standards
- Assist customers with product information and recommendations when needed
- Follow all security and cash handling procedures to protect company assets
- Collaborate with team members to support store operations and customer flow
- Customize the checkout experience to reflect our premium service standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing retail role
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and payment processing technology
- Strong numeracy skills with the ability to handle cash and calculate transactions accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated customer service excellence and friendly demeanor
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability
- Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
- Preferred: Experience in premium, luxury, or high-end retail environments
- Preferred: Multilingual capabilities
