Aramark Ireland is currently recruiting a reliable and motivated Kitchen Porterto join our team on a busy client site. The successful candidate will support kitchen and service operations, ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and customer service are maintained at all times.
This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in food and service who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced catering environment.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times, with particular emphasis on HACCP compliance.
Check in food deliveries, ensuring only the highest standard of produce is accepted into the unit.
Ensure all food storage complies with food hygiene regulations, following the FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation system.
Carry out cleaning duties associated with food service, kitchen equipment, and service furniture.
Assist with the preparation of service areas and service points prior to service.
Ensure correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
Maintain excellent personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform standards in line with company regulations.
Comply with and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s Health & Safety policy.
Monitor and accurately record food and equipment temperatures.
Provide assistance in other onsite kitchen units during quieter periods or as business needs require.
Remain aware of safety hazards within the kitchen and surrounding areas and report any issues promptly to the line manager.
Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by your line manager to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Qualifications

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required
Essential Skills & Experience

A keen interest in food and customer service
Previous experience in a catering or food service environment (desirable but not essential)
Good knowledge of Food Hygiene practices, including HACCP
Good understanding of spoken and written English
