Location: Marne Barracks, Catterick, DL10 7NP 
Pay rate: £13.05 per hour  
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends and functions) 
Shift pattern: Between 06:00 and 19:00, so your evenings are your own!

What you’ll be doing:

No two days look the same, but you can expect to: 

•    Preparing and cooking meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – plus fine dining for special events. 
•    Working as part of a talented team and mentoring new colleagues. 
•    Managing stock, placing orders, and keeping kitchen records up to date. 
•    Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. 
•    Supporting with kitchen deep cleans and due diligence paperwork. 

What sets you up for success

You’ll shine in this role if you have: 

•    A relevant culinary qualification (706/1 or 706/2 or equivalent). 
•    A confident chef who loves working as part of a team. 
•    Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for great food. 
•    Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks (UK residency for the past 3 years required).
