We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Porter to join our team at Matthew Boulton College, Birmingham, B4 7PS

What you’ll be doing

• Basic food preparation if required
• Carrying out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant 
• Supporting the kitchen and FOH team where possible
• Ensuring FOH and BOH are clean and tidy
• Assisting with deep cleans
• Assisting with deliveries and organizing them in the correct storage areas
• Removing waste from waste containers and disposing of them in the correct external bins

Experience:

• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
• Must be eligible to work in the UK 
• A DBS check is required
• Customer focused and a good communicator
• Excellent team player with a flexible approach to duties
