Job Description

We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in Dublin, Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and dependable individual to become an integral part of a busy hospitality operation, supporting the kitchen team in delivering exceptional standards and maintaining a safe, organised working environment.

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment to the highest standards - Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas, ensuring all spaces are hygienic and well-organised - Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when required
• Assist with deliveries and store stock safely and correctly in designated areas - Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with site procedures - Complete cleaning schedules to a consistently high standard - Operate kitchen cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow food safety, COSHH, health and safety, and company procedures at all times - Help maintain a safe, organised, and efficient kitchen environment that supports the wider team - Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic - Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative manner - Reliable and flexible approach to work, with willingness to adapt to changing priorities - Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical fitness and stamina to meet the demands of the role - Understanding of food safety and health and safety procedures, or willingness to learn - Good communication skills and ability to take direction - Desirable: Previous experience as a kitchen porter, in cleaning, or within hospitality - Desirable: Knowledge of COSHH regulations and kitchen safety protocols
